Big Cat Encounter

Bengal tigers, African lions, and a mountain lion all call Nemacolin home. Each of our big cats was born in captivity, and many of them are rescues who once lived in other places. Despite this, they are still wild animals and not pets of the resort.

During the Big Cat Encounter, you’ll be invited to engage with our trained wildlife keepers while learning about the various behavioral, intellectual, and enrichment training we share with the cats. You’ll hear insider information about their personalities, and you’ll be able to observe the carnal nature of these creatures during a feeding.

If you’re having trouble deciding between the Lion Encounter and the Tiger Encounter, the Big Cat Encounter will be the perfect experience for you!

Hours of Operation
$156 per person, includes tax & gratuity
A notice of 24 hours is required for any cancellation of your reservation or 100% of the fee will be charged. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged the full price.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian throughout the experience

Maximum of 14 people per encounter
Encounter lasts 45-60 minutes
Check in at the Equestrian Center
Please wear weather-appropriate attire and proper footwear (recommend boots or tennis shoes, no open-toe shoes)
Food and pets are not permitted on the encounter
