The breathtaking Laurel Highlands, a rolling mountain landscape near Pittsburgh, inspired
Pete Dye to create a masterpiece. Mystic Rock has hosted PGA events and won countless awards, establishing Nemacolin as a can’t-miss golf resort since 1995.
Mystic Rock was the dream of Nemacolin Founder Joseph A. Hardy III. Today, it stands as one
of the country’s finest courses, offering players championship-level golf in a spectacular
mountain setting. Known for hosting the PGA Tour’s 84 Lumber Classic, this world-famous course
has earned numerous accolades and is recognized as one of Pete Dye’s greatest creations. Nemacolin and Golf Architect Tim Liddy partnered with Dye — before his passing — to complete
an extensive bunker renovation on Mystic Rock in July 2021, solidifying its place as one of the
USA’s premier mountain courses.
