Photolog — The 2022 Holiday Events at Nemacolin

Together, we gave thanks, stuffed ourselves full of delicious food at the Thanksgiving Feast, and celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday at Nemacolin.

A cornucopia of flavors was on full display satisfying hearty appetites in the Marquis Ballroom at the Thanksgiving Feast.

Trey Matheu, managing director of Nemacolin, presents a check for $100,000 to Project Bundle-Up. Accepting the donation were Michelle Wright, WTAE-TV television news anchor and reporter, and Victoria Gill, director of WTAE-TV’s Project Bundle-Up through the Western Pennsylvania Divisional Headquarters of the Salvation Army. Gill and Wright also presented Nemacolin with the 2022 Community Service Award.

Santa and Mrs. Claus did the honors and switched on the resort’s holiday displays at the Light Up Nemacolin festivities.

After their arrival, Santa and Mrs. Claus got in on some holiday photo fun with the carolers outside of the Laurel Lane Shops. Santa also made appearances each weekend from Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve at Breakfast with Santa.

Oh, The Chateau! The Nemacolin pastry team went all out with a gingerbread replica of everyone’s favorite place to stay. Throughout the holiday season, families could make their own gingerbread houses at the Saturday morning Gingerbread House Workshops.

Ice Theatre of New York opened for Johnny Weir among the glitter, glow, and magic of Unwrapped on Ice at Nemacolin. Guests and members can enjoy ice skating all winter long on the outdoor rink at Lafayette Square.

Unwrapped on Pointe was wonderfully mesmerizing, and the ballet dancers brought magical moments to this year’s events.

To those who were a part of the festivities, we thank you for your support and enthusiasm as we shared a $100,000 donation with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank with Vice President of Sales and Marketing Christopher Baran of Nemacolin emceeing the evening event.

Managing Director Trey Matheu had a bit of help from one of the resort’s elves in presenting the Fayette County EMS with a donation of $100,000.

Before we flipped the calendar from 2022, Nemacolin hosted unforgettable New Year’s weekend parties with enchanting celebrations, unforgettable meals, and delightful surprises across the resort.

The Diamond Party in the Marquis Ballroom brought live entertainment, dancing, late-night bites, and a midnight toast to ring in 2023. Over at The Peak, there was a spectacular family party with a DJ, games, a yummy buffet, bowling, axe throwing, late-night swimming, and a midnight balloon drop accompanied by an apple cider toast. Kids Club stayed open late for children who wanted to party without their parents, too!
