NEMACOLIN WOODLANDS RESORT DONATES TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

New York - April 29, 2019 – Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, in southwestern Pennsylvania, announced this week that it was donating goods totaling $114,200 to Habitat for Humanity in Morgantown, West Virginia to support local communities in need. The donations will help local families build and improve places to call home.
Nemacolin will be donating 250 doors from the Chateau Lafayette and The Lodge and 300 TV's from all rooms on its property. Every 3-4 days, trucks will be loaded with donations to be delivered to Habitat for Humanity so that these materials can be used to improve homes of local communities. Nemacolin has always strived to help local communities flourish and to bring happiness and joy into the lives of its neighbors.
Continuing the Hardy family tradition of giving back, Nemacolin's owner, Maggie Hardy Knox, is widely recognized as a philanthropist whose efforts provide support and resources for countless families and organizations across the Trucks being loaded to deliver materials country and throughout her home state of Pennsylvania. The Hardy family's charitable gifts have included large donations to such organizations as California University of Pennsylvania, Children's Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, The Washington Hospital, several United Way chapters in southwestern Pennsylvania, Washington Jefferson College, 84 Baseball/Softball and the Washington County Food Bank.
