Just wait, it is going to be better than expected! That is our motto, because at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, a project, well, it is never finished. We thrive on excitement and change and 2016 is no exception.

A new addition to our main entrance, front drive and Chateau Lafayette entrance that will make your future arrival… even grander! This renovation process is aggressive to ensure the least amount of impact on your upcoming stay. However, these upgrades do bring some operational changes to your next arrival experience.

Now through April 1, 2016: The Parking Garage is now closed. Valet parking is available to guests. Day guests experiencing our main complex or overnight guests staying in the Chateau Lafayette or Lodge, must valet their vehicles at check-in. Self-parking is unavailable during this time.
The Chateau Lafayette entrance is closed for renovations. At this time, the Front Desk has been relocated to the Lodge Lobby to accommodate guests.
Tuesday, February 9 Through Mid-March: Nemacolin's main entrance will be closed for renovations. Guests will enter the resort through Smith School Road off of Route 40. Please see below for mapped directions.

Check-in will be conducted in the Lodge Lobby.
FALLING ROCK, TOWNHOME & PRIVATE HOME GUESTS
Check-in will be conducted at Falling Rock hotel's Indulgence Desk.
April 1, 2016: Renovation of the new entrance to be completed.
Q: WHAT WILL BE MOST IMPACTED WITH MY STAY?
A: Resort entrance and location of check-in. Guests staying at the Chateau Lafayette and Lodge will need to check-in at the temporary Front Desk located in the Lodge Lobby through March. Guests staying in one of our Private Homes or Townhomes will need to check in at the Falling Rock Front Desk through March. As of Tuesday, February 9, all guests will need to enter the resort through the Smith School Road entrance. Please note, directional signage will direct guests through the detour.
Q: WILL GUEST PARKING BE AFFECTED?
A: The Parking Garage is now closed. Guests must valet their vehicles, as self-parking is not permitted at this time. Valet parking will be handled out of the Lodge.
Q: I ALREADY BOOKED MY STAY DURING THIS TIME, NOW WHAT?
A: Thank you. We look forward to welcoming you! The only difference from a past stay will be the road you enter the resort and the location of check-in.
Q: WILL THERE BE EQUIPMENT ON PROPERTY?
A: Yes. However, the awarded contractors have experience working at our property. They have managed past construction projects from our Sundial Lodge to Falling Rock boutique hotel. All decisions are made with our guest’s experience in mind.
Q: WILL THERE BE NOISE ISSUES?
A: Guests may experience noise during times. However, given the scope of the project and proximity to lodging, most of the construction will be unnoticeable to guests. Our Reservation and Front Desk Teams have been informed of the timeframe of our projects and will assist in answering any questions you may have regarding how this will affect your stay.
Q: HOW LONG WILL THE RENOVATION TAKE PLACE?
A: Our new front entrance will be unveiled on April 1, 2016.
Q: WILL THE DESIGN PROVIDE A DIFFERENT NEMACOLIN FEEL?
A: Our professional designers are staying true to the European style flair of the Chateau Lafayette and the luxury that is the essence of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
Q: WILL THE LOBBY BAR REMAIN OPEN?
A: Yes, the Lobby Bar will remain open and operating under regular schedule hours.
Monday - Friday: 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday - Sunday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Q: WILL THE EXPERIENCE TEAM / CONCIERGE TEAM REMAIN OPEN?
A: Yes, the Experience Team and Concierge Associates will remain in the Chateau Lafayette Lobby and will be available to assist with Casino access and guests with questions and needs.
