Nemacolin Woodlands Introduces Spa Voyage
Where Kidz Travel The World Of Beauty And Wellness
Farmington, PA (May 13, 2009) – Nemacolin Woodlands Resort has long been noted for the excellent service and treatments provided at the Woodlands Spa. Now, the younger set can enjoy the same world class treatments in the new Spa Voyage slated to open on May 23 at the luxury resort southeast of Pittsburgh.
“We have noticed an increase in the number of requests for spa treatments for children and young adults” says Lisa Meinhofer, Director of the Woodlands Spa. Meinhofer goes on to explain, “An individual must be sixteen years of age to use the Woodlands Spa, so this new facility will allow our younger guests to take advantage of age appropriate treatments that mirror the experiences that their parents enjoy. We have carefully considered each and every element of Spa Voyage to introduce children to the world of spas but more importantly, to foster self confidence and self esteem.”
Spa Voyage is centered on a travel theme inviting young guests to “visit” different parts of the world as they register for services in a “train station” waiting area and prepare to embark on a journey that might take them to a tropical rain forest, a major metropolitan area or a casbah. Treatment offerings will reflect those locations and include Rainforest Reflexology, Big City Braids and a Moroccan Manicure. Spa Voyage is available for children ages five through fifteen and parents are invited to accompany children to their treatments.
Spa Voyage is located on the lower level of Heritage Court in the former Kidz Shoppe adjacent to PJ’s Ice Cream Parlor.
