Charity golf tournament benefits Community Foundation of Fayette County
Farmington, PA (June 4, 2007) — Sports celebrities from the arenas of football, golf, baseball and hockey test their skills on one of Pennsylvania’s most challenging golf courses for the inaugural Mystic Rock Pro Am on Monday, June 18 at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. PGA TOUR 84 Lumber Classic Champions Jason Gore and J. L. Lewis return to Mystic Rock as part of the twenty celebrities taking part in the event. Other stars scheduled to play include Pittsburgh Steelers Brett Keisel, Jerame Tuman, Jeff Reed and Charlie Batch; plus numerous Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins alumni. FOX National Radio host, Steve Czaban, of First Team with Steve Czaban will broadcast live from Nemacolin the morning of the tournament.
Benefiting the Community Foundation of Fayette County, the tournament is a 4-person shamble format. Each team features one celebrity and three amateur golfers. Registration costs include the Pairings Party on Sunday, June 17, overnight room accommodations at Nemacolin, a continental breakfast, greens fees and the Awards Dinner. Each team member will receive a pin flag autographed by their team celebrity, framed along with a team photo.
