Labor Day Weekend stacked with fun for the whole family
Farmington, PA (June 1, 2006) — Bid a fond farewell to summer with a Labor Day weekend full of family fun at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. The festivities kick off Friday, September 1st and continue through Sunday, September 3rd with live entertainment and activities for all ages throughout the weekend. Carnival games, nighttime mini golf, family relay races, and family bingo are a sampling of the activities guests will enjoy.
The weekend schedule is as follows:
Friday, September 1
9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Nighttime Mini Golf at Fallingbrook Mini Golf course
9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. DJ in the Tavern and Diamond Lil’s
Saturday, September 2
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Carnival Games and Family Activities on the Croquet Court
• Face painting, Bounce House, Carnival style games
• Family Relay Races at Noon and 2:00 p.m. (Three-Legged Race, Potato Sack Race, Pie Eating Contest, Water Balloon Toss)
9:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Family Bingo with prizes
9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. DJ in the Tavern/Diamond Lil’s
Sunday, September 3
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Sunday Brunch in Lautrec
Nemacolin welcomes day guests to enjoy the Carnival Games on Saturday. Special Labor Day Weekend packages are available by calling 866.399.6957. Single event prices are as follows: $8 (adults) and $6 (children) for the Nighttime Mini Golf; $15 per child for carnival activities (includes a special T-shirt); and $3 per card for the Family Bingo (available to overnight guests only).
