Nemacolin Woodlands offers golf, fly-fishing, sporting clays and Hummer® drives
April 28, 2006 (Farmington, Pa.) — For families not quite sure what to do for dad on Father’s Day, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort has the answer: a day in the great outdoors. The resort is offering a variety of cool “guy” activities that are perfect for dads and kids, plus a Father’s Day Brunch in the resort’s award-winning Lautrec restaurant to make sure he gets his energy first.
For the thrill-seeking father, Nemacolin’s Off-Road Driving Academy offers hands-on experience in Hummer® H1 and H2 vehicles on 18 miles of mud trails, rocks, ponds and craters. Sessions are available for two-hours ($275 for up to four people) or half-hour ride alongs ($60 per Hummer®). A commemorative photo is included in the experience.
For the golfing father, Nemacolin offers two of best golf options in Pennsylvania.
