Accommodations
Can I book a room reservation on line?
Yes. Room reservations can be made Online or from any page on the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort website.

Does your room rate include any meals?
Our published room rate is for one room, one night, double occupancy. We do, however, offer a Bed & Breakfast Package year round. For complete details, please see our Specials & Packages page.

Do you offer special packages or discounts?
Yes. For a complete listing of seasonal and special event packages available, please see our Specials & Packages page.

What is the difference between the Chateau Lafayette and The Lodge?
The Chateau Lafayette is a French Renaissance inspired hotel, while the Lodge exudes an English Country Cottage charm. Both are equally appointed with luxury furnishings and bedding, and share all of the same amenities.

Are more spacious accommodations available for families or groups of friends?
Yes. Our Townhomes offer two bedrooms, full kitchen and 1 ½ baths. We also offer private Luxury Homes, which feature between two and eight bedrooms. For more information on these accommodations, please visit our Accommodations pages.

Do you allow pets?
Yes, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is proud to have received the designation of a PET PROUD® facility.  A PET PROUD® facility incorporates pets into the daily activities of the family.  New for 2009 - Nemacolin Wooflands, the region’s premier pet resort & spa, located just off of Route 40 features hydrotherapy, a state-of-the-art grooming salon, outside exercise areas and more.

Do I need reservations for dining other services?

Gift Certificates
How do I purchase a gift certificate?
Gift Certificates are available for purchase Online, at our Front Desk, or by calling 866.344.6957.  Certificates are available in any denomination, and can be redeemed for any service or amenity at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.  This includes lodging, golf, spa, shopping, dining, etc.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Diners Club and US Dollars.

Do you offer shopping at Nemacolin Woodlands?

For the outdoor sportsman, no visit is complete without a stop at Woodlands World in downtown Uniontown. You can shop Woodlands World Online.


Art Collection
Where can I see the Hardy Art Collection?
The Hardy Family Art Collection is on display throughout Nemacolin Woodlands for the enjoyment of our guests. The collection ranges from rare Audubon Prints to works by contemporary masters. Complimentary art tours are given daily at 3:00 p.m.

Are any of the pieces offered for sale?
Yes.  Artwork exhibited in The Nemacolin Galleries is offered for sale.  Also, many of the vehicles in the Auto Toy Store collection are also for sale. For additional inquiries, or purchasing from The Hardy Art Collection, contact our Art Collection Specialist at 724.329.6789.


Golf
How many courses are available at Nemacolin Woodlands?
We offer two championship courses, Mystic Rock and The Links, spread out across beautiful mountain landscapes. Both are open to the public. We also have an 18-hole miniature golf course, Fallingbrook, complete with sand traps and waterfalls.

Spa
Is there a minimum age requirement for spa services?
Yes, guests ages 16 and up may enjoy any of the services offered at Woodlands Spa. However, Spa Voyage Kidz Spa opened in May 2009 and accommodates children ages 5 - 15, and features age appropriate spa and salon services.

Is there a fee for using the spa if you are not receiving a service?
Spa usage is complimentary for guests receiving one or more spa services, on the day of service only. For guests not receiving a spa treatment, the fee is $20 full day, $10 half day. For non-resort guests the fee is $25 full day, $15 half day.


Recreation
What is there to do if it rains?
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort's entertainment emporium, The WildSide is the perfect option for guests to escape the rain. Plus, many of our activities offer climate-controlled surroundings. The Woodlands Spa and Adventure Center are perfect examples. We also have wine tastings, art tours, shopping and more.

Do you have any winter activities?
Mystic Mountain Snowsports Center offers downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Youth programs are also offered for our younger guests.  Another popular option is dogsledding, which is offered during the winter months through the Wildlife Academy.

We want to bring our children, what is there for kids to do?
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort takes great pride in being a family getaway destination. From The WildSide to the Adventure Center, many of our resort activities are centered around family fun.  With Kidz Klub and The Krew, children from ages 4 - 16 can enjoy full days of safe, supervised, and most importantly, fun activities. Memberships
Does Nemacolin Woodlands offer any type of memberships?

Miscellaneous
Is Paradise Pool available for day guests?
Sorry, use of Paradise Pool is restricted to resort guests only.

How do I get from the townhouses or private luxury homes to the main hotel?
Shuttle service is provided on a complimentary basis to all outlets of the resort. For pick up at the Townhomes or Luxury Homes, please contact the Concierge at time of service request.

Are your townhouses for sale to private individuals?
Townhouses owned by Nemacolin Woodlands are not offered for sale.  However, some of the older townhomes are owned privately. From time to time, these privately owned townhomes are offered for sale by their owners through their realtor.

What kind of bird is Fat Bird?
Our loveable mascot, Fat Bird, has endeared himself to many guests over the years. Fashioned after the Botero sculpture at the resort's entrance, he is a plump little fellow with short legs. Fat Bird loves to swim, Ski, Shoot Sporting Clays, Golf, Shop and Horseback Ride. But most of all, he loves to see guests enjoying themselves. He's a rare bird indeed!

Where did the name Nemacolin come from?
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort was named after Chief Nemacolin, a Lanai Lanape Indian chief.  Chief Nemacolin led George Washington through the Allegheny Mountains along what is now U.S. Route 40.  Click Here for more information regarding our resort's history.

Does Nemacolin Woodlands make donations to charitable organizations?
Donations requests are handled through the Nemacolin Woodlands Executive Office.  Donation requests should be submitted in writing, on the organization's letterhead, to:
