Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is located in Farmington, Pennsylvania – just 70-miles southeast of Pittsburgh. Situated on nearly 2,000 acres in the beautiful Laurel Highlands region of the Allegheny Mountains, Nemacolin is consistently recognized in the hospitality and travel industry.

Pittsburgh (South)

Approximately 60 Miles - MAP IT

From Pittsburgh (South), take Rt. 51 South to Uniontown. In Uniontown, take the Rt. 119 South/Rt. 40 East Exit. Continue on Rt. 119 South approximately 4 miles to the Rt. 40 Split. Stay left and follow Rt. 40 East approximately 12 miles to Farmington, PA. Nemacolin is on the left.

Pittsburgh (East)

Approximately 65 Miles - MAP IT

Option 1:
From Pittsburgh (Monroeville/East), take the PA Turnpike (toll road) to Exit 75 for US-119/PA-66 toward Greensburg. Quickly use the right 2 lanes to take Exit 1 to merge onto US-119 S toward Connellsville. Continue on Route 119 South through Connellsville to the Route 40 split in Uniontown. Stay left to take the US-40 E exit toward Hopwood and follow Route 40 East approximately 12 miles to Farmington, PA. Nemacolin is on the left.

Option 2:
From Pittsburgh (Monroeville/East), take the PA Turnpike (toll road) to Exit 75 for I-70 W toward Wheeling, WV. Take Exit 46A to merge onto PA-51 S toward Uniontown. Follow PA-51 S and use the left 2 lanes to take the US-40 E exit toward Hopwood. Follow Rt. 40 East approximately 12 miles to Farmington, PA. Nemacolin is on the left.

From the East (Harrisburg)

Approximately 190 Miles - MAP IT

From Harrisburg, take I-81 South towards Hagerstown, MD to I-70 West towards Hancock, MD. Then take I-68 West to the Uniontown, PA Exit (Exit 14B). At the light, turn left onto Rt. 40 West. Travel approximately 19 miles. Nemacolin is on the right.

From the North (Erie)

Approximately 200 Miles - MAP IT

Option 1:
From Erie, take I-79 South for about 100 miles to the PA Turnpike (toll road) to Exit 75 for US-119/PA-66 toward Greensburg. Quickly use the right 2 lanes to take Exit 1 to merge onto US-119 S toward Connellsville. Continue on Route 119 South through Connellsville to the Route 40 split in Uniontown. Stay left to take the US-40 E exit toward Hopwood and follow Route 40 East approximately 12 miles to Farmington, PA. Nemacolin is on the left.

Option 2:
From Erie, take I-79 South for approcimately 145 miles. Keep left to stay on I-79 S, follow signs for Interstate 70 E/Interstate 79 S/New Stanton/Morgantown. Continue onto I-70 E, and take exit 37A to merge onto PA-43 S (toll road). Use the right 2 lanes to merge onto US-119 S toward Pennsylvania Turnpike 43 S/Morgantown. To exit PA-43, use the left 2 lanes to take the US-40 E exit toward Hopwood, and follow Route 40 East approximately 12 miles to Farmington, PA. Nemacolin is on the left.

From the East (Philadelphia)

Approximately 290 Miles - MAP IT

From Philadelphia, take I-81 South towards Hagerstown, MD to I-70 West towards Hancock, MD. Then take I-68 West to the Uniontown, PA Exit (Exit 14B). At the light, turn left onto Rt. 40 West. Travel approximately 19 miles. Nemacolin is on the right.


West Virginia Cities:

From the South (Morgantown)

Approximately 35 Miles - MAP IT

From Morgantown, take I-68 to the Cheat Lake Exit. Take Rt. 43 North (toll road) to the Hopwood/Rt. 40 East Exit. Continue on Rt. 40 East approximately 12 miles to Farmington. Nemacolin is on the left.

From Wheeling

Approximately 85 Miles - MAP IT

From Wheeling, take I-70 East into Pennsylvania. Continue on I-70 East. Take Exit 37A to Rt. 43 South (toll road) near California, PA. Continue on Rt. 43 South. Take the Uniontown Exit (Rt. 119 South/ Rt. 40 East). Travel Rt. 119 South to the Rt. 40 East split. Take Rt. 40 East for approximately 12 miles. Nemacolin is on the left.

From the Southeast (Washington, DC)

Please note: the drive may take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. We recommend that you depart from Nemacolin at least 3-4 hours prior to your flight departure time.

From the Airport, take Rt. 60 South to I-79 South. Then take I-79 South to I-70 East (Washington, PA). Continue on I-70 East to Rt. 43 South (toll road). Continue on Rt. 43 South. Take the Uniontown Exit (Rt. 119 South/ Rt. 40 East). Travel on Rt. 119 South to the Rt. 40 East Split. Stay left and continue for approximately 12 miles. Nemacolin is on the left.

Morgantown Airport / Hartfield

Approximately 34 Miles - MAP IT

Please note: the drive may take approximately 50 minutes.

From the Airport, turn right and travel to first stop light. Turn right and travel about 1 mile to next light. Turn right again and travel about 2 more miles to I-68 East. Take the Cheat Lake Exit to Rt. 43 North (toll road) towards Uniontown, PA. Take the Rt. 40 East Exit. Travel approximately 12 miles to Farmington, PA. Nemacolin is on the left.

Connellsville Airport

Approximately 18 Miles - MAP IT

From the Airport, turn right onto Rt. 119 South. Continue approximately 10 miles to the Rt. 40 East split. Stay left and travel about 12 more miles to Farmington, PA. Nemacolin is on the left.


Local Train Station:

Connelsville Amtrak

Approximately 28 Miles - MAP IT

From the Train Station, Head south on Water St toward Grape Alley, then, turn right onto W Crawford Ave/Officer McCray Robb Memorial Bridge. Turn left onto S 9th St and continue in the right lanes on to 119 South. After approximately 14 miles, use the left 2 lanes to take the US-40 E exit toward Hopwood and continue onto US-40 E. In approximately 12 miles. Nemacolin is on the left.
