If winter sports are your thing then you are in luck! Skiing and snowboarding are available on 6 slopes at Mystic Mountain, with slope difficulty ranging from beginner to expert. For more information on seasonal activities, please contact a Resort Reservations Specialist at 844.218.6324.

Skiing & Snowboarding

Mystic Mountain is Western Pennsylvania's ideal learning environment for first-time skiers and snowboarders, with 25 acres of fun, short lines, friendly trails and experienced instructors.

If winter sports are your thing then you are in luck! Downhill skiing and snowboarding are available on 7 slopes at Mystic Mountain, with slope difficulty ranging from beginner to expert. Mystic Mountain has a 300' vertical drop, three lifts and is 100% illuminated, making night skiing great fun. The mountain is serviced by three lifts: one quad chair lift, a beginner tow and a surface lift in the snow tubing park. Mystic Mountain also has rental equipment available, leaving no excuses for battling the mountain!

Ski & Snowboard Private Lessons

Our professional staff is available for private lessons and ready to assist those in need. Mystic Mountain offers a variety of programs suitable for all ages; however, they are recommended for children ages 4 and older. Private lessons are recommended for those interested in making a life of the sport. Advanced reservations are required.



Snow Tubing

An exciting activity that requires little on-snow skill! Take a seat on our specially designed tubes and navigate down our 800' tubing park. Tube and rider are carried back to the top of the hill by our surface lift for multiple rides. Advanced reservations are required.

Participants must be 42" tall, one person per snow tube, ski boots are not permitted to be worn while snow tubing and parental supervision is required for children 12 and under.

"The Yeti's Lair" Terrain Park

Beginners will appreciate the park as they learn the skills needed to be able to successfully master more advanced terrain parks. The park is located on the right side of Grizzly Run and may include any of the following features: 16' and 24' flat boxes, 14' down flat rail, 16' down cannon rail, 24' rainbow box and a variety of jumps.

Cross Country Skiing

Cross Country Skiing has been an event on the grounds of Mystic Mountain and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort since the 1970's. Our beautiful 1.5 mile trail takes advantage of The Links golf course and includes gorgeous views of the Laurel Highlands. Rental equipment is available at the Sundial Lodge. Beginner and Intermediate lessons are available weekends only.

Snowshoeing

Experience "flotation" this winter. Snowshoe rentals are available at the Sundial Lodge. Our trails take advantage of The Links golf course and include gorgeous views of the Laurel Highlands. Rental equipment is available at the Sundial Lodge.

Lessons are available for any age, but it is recommended that children be at least four years old. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to scheduled lesson. Cancellation Policy: A 100% fee is charged for no shows. Cancellations are required 24-hours prior to the lesson to avoid the 100% cancellation charge.
1.5-Hour Terrain Park Lesson (Ages 7 & Up)$159.99 Per Person / $59.99 Additional (6 Student Max)
Terrain Park Features: 16' Flat Box, 24' Flat Box, 14' Down Rail, 16' Down Cannon Rail, 24' Rainbow Box and small to medium sized jumps. Feature construction is weather permitting

Important Details: This full day program for experienced skiers includes lift ticket, rental equipment, two on-snow group lessons, lunch during the full-day program, interactive indoor activities and a skiing report card to monitor the specific skills necessary to grow in the sport. Private lessons are not offered at camp. Snowboard instruction is currently not available with this program. Children need to be prepared with waterproof ski clothing, hat and gloves. Please arrive 35 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Cancellation Policy: A 100% fee is charged for no shows. Cancellations are required 24-hours prior to the lesson to avoid the 100% cancellation charge.
