Four-miles from Nemacolin Woodlands Resort on a 140-acre complex is one of the nation's top sporting clays facilities: The Shooting Academy.  Featuring 30 sporting clay stations spread across two courses, towers, five stand pavilions with a Wobble Trap Field.

First time shooters are guaranteed to break targets with the help of our National Sporting Clay Association (NSCA) certified male and female instructors.  Private lessons for intermediate and advanced shooters are also available by reservation only.

The Shooting Academy Lodge hosts a retail store, banquet facility and full-service pro shop, making it a perfect venue for corporate events. For information on hosting your next event at the Shooting Academy, please fill out our online Request For Proposal.  Sponsorship and vendor space opportunities for events at the Shooting Academy are available.

The Shooting Academy at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is located four-miles from the Resort along Route 40.

Orvis Fly Fishing
The Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Center and Expedition at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is your gateway to some of the finest fly fishing streams and creeks in the Eastern United States.  Situated in the mountains of the Laurel Highlands, Pennsylvania, this facility is in a class by itself for fishermen of any skill level.  Half and Full-Day Guided Trips, Fly Fishing Casting and Fly Tying Lessons are available.  From beginners to experienced anglers, your experience here will be one of a lifetime!
