Skiing & Snowboarding

Neighbor & Friends Night
Fridays Through March 9, 2012:  2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Rates:  $25 / Skier
Important Details:  Includes lift ticket and rental.  One-Hour Lesson specials are available from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for $25 per person.

Dog Sledding
Tuesday - Wednesday and Sunday:  8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Friday - Saturday:  8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Important Details: Reservations required. Weather permitting, call 866.344.6957 for availability. Two guests maximum to a sled.  Maximum combined weight 275 lbs.  Minimum weight is 45 lbs. for children. Subject to availability. Please meet at the Barn behind the Wildlife Academy.

Ski & Snowboard Private Lessons
Important Details:  Advanced reservations required. Lessons are available for any age, but it is resommended that children be at least four years old.  Reservations will be made on the hour.  A 100% fee is charged for no shows.  Cancellations are required 24 hours prior to the lesson to avoid the 100% cancellation charge.  Please arrive 20 minutes prior to scheduled lesson.

Mystic Mountain Snow Camp
Important Details:  Ages 4 - 12 years.  Full-Day program includes two on-the-snow group lessons, lunch, interactive indoor themed activities, introduction to ski program and a skiing report card to monitor the specific skills necessary to grow in the sport.  Teaching and individual lessons are not offered at camp.  Snowboard instruction is not available with this program.  Children need to be prepared with waterproof ski clothing, hat and gloves.  All prices include use of rental of skis and boots.  Please arrive 35 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

Snow Tubing
Opening Date - January 7, 2012
Friday:  2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday:  9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Sunday:  9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Holiday Weekends - 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
Important Details: Reservations required. Based on two-hour pass.  Children must be 42" or taller. Individual riders on each tube.  Ski boots are not permitted to be worn while snow tubing.  Parental supervision is required for children 12 years and younger.

Cross Country Skiing
Not Available at this time due to weather.  An Opening Date is TBD.
Important Details:  Rate includes Ski's, Shoes & Poles.  Rental equipment is available at the Sundial Ski Lodge.  Beginner and Intermediate lessons are available weekends only.  Three mile trail.  Weather permitting.

Snowshoeing

THE FIELD CLUB - Shooting Academy

Shooting Packages / Five Stand

Important Details:  All prices below reflect per person pricing, unless otherwise stated.  Shooting Packages Include: Targets, ammo, gun rental, safety equipment and a Shooting Academy Guide.  Golf carts inclusive in pricing.

THE FIELD CLUB - ORVIS® FLY FISHING

Important Details:  Transportation, fishing pass and equipment are included in all package prices. Streamside box lunches are included with full day trips. Prices do not include tax or gratuity. Please be aware that there is a 10% entertainment tax on all fly fishing trips.  All Fly Fishing Trips are catch and release only.  A valid Pennsylvania and / or Maryland fishing license is required and is sold separately.

Please bring:  Please dress accordingly.  Pants or shorts with belt loops and tube socks are recommended.  Polarized sunglasses, a rain coat, SPF and a camera are also recommended.

Half-Day / Full-Day Guided Trips
Daily: 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Important Details: By reservation only.  All trips meet at the Field Club.  Half days are four hours and full days are eight hours.

Yough River Drift Boat Trips
By Reservation Only.
Important Details:  Reservations required.  Maximum of two people per boat.  Preferred age 16 years and older.  Tackle trophy trout float.  Best for experienced anglers.  Rate includes everything, except a Pennsylvania and / or Maryland Fishing License.

Orvis® Fly Fishing Lessons / School
Wednesday - Sunday: 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

By reservation only.  Rates include equipment.  Classes may be altered for beginner or advanced lessons.  Maximum of three people per lesson.  Meet at Shooting Academy.

Fly Fishing 101
Wednesday - Sunday: 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Important Details:  Reservations required.  Rates include equipment.  Preferred age 12 years and older.  Program teaches the basics to hit the water on your own including:  fly fishing techniques  basic casting, overview of equipment, entomology, and time in the pond.

Spin Cast Fishing Trips
Wednesday - Sunday:  10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Important Details:  Reservations Required.  Includes equipment, bait, tackle and guide.  Guided trips will meet at The Shooting Academy, unless planned otherwise.  Class takes place on property.  Limited to four people per class.

Junior Outdoorsman Clinic
Monday - Saturday:  9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Important Details:  Reservations required.  Maximum of four people per group.  Includes half-hour archery lesson, half hour air riffle lesson, one-hour spin fishing lesson and equipment.

THE FIELD CLUB - UPLAND BIRD HUNTS
Reopens Fall 2012
Important Details: Reservations required.  Maximum of four hunters per party.  Parent's signature required for any participant under 18 years old.  250 sq. ft. of fluorescent orange required.  Must abide by Pennsylvania Game Commission regulations.  Includes up to three hours of guided hunt with dog.  No license required.  Well mannered dogs welcomed.

THE WILDLIFE ACADEMY

Backwoods Trail Rides
Tuesday - Wednesday and Friday - Sunday:  11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Important Details: All riders must be 55'' or taller and wear appropriate attire and footwear (recommend boots or tennis shoes, no open toe shoes).  Trips will run in rain unless there is thunder and / or lightening.  Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to scheduled ride.  Ride lasts approximately 45 minutes.  Please meet at the Barn behind the Wildlife Academy. 
Rates:  $75 Per Rider


Fatbird Express Train
Reopens May 2012
Important Details:  Reservations required.  Last Train departs at 4:00 p.m.  Please meet at the Wildlife Academy Check-In Station.  Maximum of 12 people per train.  Available every hour on the hour.

Dog Sledding

Nursery Tours
Saturday - Sunday:  9:00 a.m.

Pony Rides
Saturday - Sunday:  10:00 a.m. - 10:40 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.
Important Details:  Reservations required.  Available at the Equestrian Center.  Rides depart every 5 minutes.  Riders must be able to hold onto horse by themselves.  Adults are not allowed to walk beside and hold onto children.  Must wear proper footwear.
Rates:  $10 Per Child


Safari Tours
Daily:  10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Important Details:  Reservations required.  Weather permitting.  There is a seven person max per ride.  The Safari Tour contains a great deal of walking, please wear comfortable attire and proper footwear.  Please meet at the Wildlife Academy Check-In Station.

Wild Animal Show

Important Details:  Reservations required.  Please meet at the Adventure Center.  Trips include an instructor.  Must have child seat if required by law.  Each vehicle can accommodate four guests and one instructor.  Approximately 30 minutes long.  No shows or canceling within 12 hours of reservations will result in full charge to your credit card.

Instructional Series:
